TS Inter Results 2026 Officially Released by Telangana State Board
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has formally declared the much-anticipated TS Inter Results 2026 for both first and second-year students. This comprehensive announcement includes critical information regarding supplementary examinations and essential post-result procedures for candidates across the state.
Massive Examination Process Involving Nearly 10 Lakh Students
A staggering total of 9.97 lakh students participated in the Intermediate Public Examinations conducted at 1,495 examination centers throughout Telangana. The extensive evaluation process involved 31,743 invigilators and 28,507 evaluators who meticulously assessed answer scripts across 20 dedicated valuation centers. Practical examinations were conducted earlier at 1,924 specialized centers to ensure comprehensive assessment of student capabilities.
First Year Performance Analysis and Pass Percentage Breakdown
In the first year examinations, 4,89,123 candidates appeared across both general and vocational streams. Among these students, 3,23,807 successfully passed their examinations, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 66.20. The gender-wise performance revealed a significant disparity, with girls achieving an impressive pass percentage of 74.40 while boys recorded a pass percentage of 57.69.
The grade distribution among successful candidates showed 2,10,380 students securing A grade, followed by 75,096 in B grade, 28,062 in C grade, and 10,269 in D grade. The board reported that 13 candidates faced disciplinary action for examination malpractice during the assessment process.
Recounting and Reverification Procedures for Students
The board has established formal procedures for students seeking recounting or reverification of their valued answer scripts. Candidates applying for simple recounting must pay Rs.100 per paper, while those opting for scanned copy-cum-reverification services need to pay Rs.800 per paper through the official TSBIE website.
The application window for these post-result services will remain active from April 13, 2026 to April 20, 2026. Students must submit their applications exclusively through the online student services portal, selecting relevant subjects and providing complete personal details. The board has emphasized that no manual submissions will be accepted after the specified deadline.
Supplementary Examination Schedule and Important Dates
The Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations for theory papers will commence from May 13, 2026, conducted in two separate sessions. Practical examinations will follow from May 22, 2026, also organized in dual sessions to accommodate all eligible candidates.
Students who did not meet the passing criteria in the main examinations are eligible to appear for these supplementary tests. Fee payments for supplementary examinations can be processed at respective junior colleges within the same application window as other post-result services.
Marks Memo Download Process and Verification Guidelines
Students can access and download their online memorandum of marks from the official TSBIE website starting from April 12, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Principals will also have dedicated access to comprehensive marks registers through their institutional login credentials.
The board has clarified that no physical copies of marks memos will be issued separately. Students are advised to retain printed copies of their online marks memos until official pass certificates are formally provided by the board. Any discrepancies in marks or personal details must be reported through principals or the designated helpdesk within ten days of result publication to ensure timely resolution.
