CM Yogi Adityanath Directs Statewide Adoption of Governor's Education Model
In a significant move for Uttar Pradesh's education sector, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday hailed Governor Anandiben Patel for presenting an exemplary model of education at Adarsh Madhyamik Vidyalaya in Jan Bhawan. The CM directed officials from the basic and secondary education departments to adopt this model in CM Composite Schools across the entire state.
Inauguration of New School Building and Vision for Transformation
While inaugurating the new school building at Jan Bhawan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the replicability of this educational approach. "This model can be presented anywhere. Society only accepts things that are visible," he stated, underscoring the importance of tangible improvements in government schools.
Stressing the need for broader exposure, the CM suggested that people from different districts should be invited to visit the school at Jan Bhawan. He expressed confidence in the potential for transformation, saying, "If we make even a modest effort at our level, we can transform government schools into institutions capable of competing on par with convent and private schools."
Philosophical Insights and Emphasis on Human Potential
Citing a profound Sanskrit mantra, 'Amantaramaksharam naasti, naasti moolam anoushadham. Ayogyah purushah naasti, yojakah tatra durlabhah', Yogi Adityanath highlighted the inherent potential in every human being. He explained, "The mantra means that no one is incapable. Just as no letter is without meaning, every letter has the power to become a 'mantra', and every plant has the potential to become medicine. Similarly, every human being has the capability to become worthy, but a facilitator is required for that."
Addressing the children directly, the CM advised them to accomplish tasks through hard work and dedication, firmly stating, "There is no substitute for hard work."
Role of Teachers in Fostering Curiosity and Excellence
To the teachers present, Yogi Adityanath emphasized how children develop curiosity through the knowledge imparted to them. "When they have a goal, they start working towards it and this is where the process of transformation begins. This transformation makes them Aryabhata, Varahamihira, Sushruta, Charak, Jagadish Chandra Bose and CV Raman," the CM said, referencing great Indian scientists and scholars to illustrate the heights students can achieve with proper guidance.
Infrastructure Upgrades and Additional Facilities
The Adarsh Madhyamik Vidyalaya, constructed at a cost of Rs 5.1 crore, has been significantly upgraded. Previously operating only till Class VIII, the school now extends to Class X and features 14 modern classrooms along with computer labs, enhancing its educational capacity and technological integration.
During the inauguration event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also visited the recently established Sunita Williams Village Space Lab and the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Library at Jan Bhawan, where he engaged with children and explored these innovative educational spaces.
Additional Initiatives and Commemorative Release
On this occasion, the CM flagged off a new school bus, further supporting the institution's infrastructure. He also released the book 'Hamara Jan Bhawan', authored by Governor Anandiben Patel, which likely details the vision and development of the Jan Bhawan educational complex.
This directive from the Chief Minister marks a concerted effort to elevate the standard of government schools in Uttar Pradesh, aiming to bridge the gap with private institutions through proven models and dedicated implementation.
