Professor Barjor Mehta, President of CEPT University, made an important announcement during the proceedings. The university will launch a new MBA program in Real Estate through its faculty of management.

Professor Mehta explained the program's rationale clearly. "The course recognizes the growing need for professionals capable of steering the rapidly expanding formal real estate sector in the country," he stated. The MBA will leverage the university's established strengths in multiple disciplines including:

  • Architecture and urban planning
  • Structural engineering principles
  • Construction and project management
  • Design thinking and innovation

Insights from Distinguished Guests

Professor Ashoke Chatterjee served as the chief guest for the convocation. The design educator and former executive director of NID shared thoughtful perspectives with the graduating class. He emphasized that meaningful architecture transcends technical excellence. True architectural significance comes from emotional resonance and strong ethical foundations, according to Professor Chatterjee.

Sanjay Lalbhai, Chairman of CEPT University, addressed the new graduates directly. He highlighted the unique professional landscape they are entering. Today's architects and planners must navigate two powerful forces: climate urgency and artificial intelligence. Mr. Lalbhai stressed that technology should enhance human judgment rather than replace it entirely.

The convocation concluded on an optimistic note. These 589 graduates now join the professional world equipped with CEPT University's rigorous training. They carry forward the institution's legacy of combining technical expertise with human-centered design principles.
