Karnataka AYUSH UG 2025 Second Stray Round Schedule Out

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has officially announced the schedule for the Karnataka AYUSH Undergraduate 2025 second stray vacancy round, providing one final opportunity for eligible candidates to secure seats in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy courses.

What is the Second Stray Vacancy Round?

This special round has been introduced specifically to fill seats that remained vacant, were cancelled, or were newly added after the completion of the previous stray vacancy round. The fresh option entry window is currently active and will remain open until 10 am on 27 November 2025.

Only candidates who did not receive any seat allotment in the earlier stray vacancy round are permitted to participate in this final opportunity. Eligible applicants can submit their preferences through the official portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Important Eligibility Conditions

KEA has established specific eligibility criteria for participation in this crucial round:

Not eligible are candidates who:

  • Joined medical or dental colleges in any earlier rounds
  • Obtained provisional allotment in round three
  • Secured a seat in the first stray vacancy round
  • Reported to institutions under All India Counselling rounds
  • Were admitted to Deemed Universities or Central Universities

The authority has made it clear that option entries provided in any previous round of the Karnataka AYUSH UG 2025 counselling process will not be considered. All allotments will be finalized strictly based on merit and the newly entered preferences during this round.

Key Rules and Important Instructions

KEA has emphasized that once a fresh seat is allotted in this second stray vacancy round, any previously allotted seat will be automatically cancelled and cannot be reclaimed under any circumstances.

Admission to the newly allotted college is compulsory for successful candidates. Students must ensure they collect their original documents from their current institution to complete admission formalities within the stipulated timeframe.

In a significant update, KEA referred to Government Order No. AKUKA 345 PIM 2025, dated 2 August 2025, noting that all remaining Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seats will be offered under the Others quota at the same NRI fee structure. Candidates interested in NRI seats can include these choices in their option entry form.
