Students residing at the Homi Jehangir Bhabha Hostel, part of Lucknow University's second campus, have expressed deep resentment and frustration over the deplorable quality of food being served in the hostel mess. Mohit Kumar, a hostel resident, expressed his frustration, stating, "We are paying our mess fees regularly, yet we are being forced to compromise on basic hygiene and food quality. We are paying for proper food facilities, not for insects, fungus, and expired items. The administration must take immediate responsibility and address these concerns."
The students' grievances include:
