Mandya University Declares BEd Results in 10 Minutes, Sets New Record
Mandya Uni Declares Results in 10 Minutes

In an unprecedented move that is set to redefine academic administration standards, Mandya University has achieved a remarkable feat by declaring examination results for its BEd programme within a mere 10 minutes of completing the evaluation process. This swift action stands in stark contrast to the prolonged waits students at many other Indian universities often endure, drawing widespread praise from students and educators.

The Record-Breaking Achievement

The milestone was accomplished for the first batch of the 2024-25 academic year of the Bachelor of Education (BEd) programme. The university conducted the second and fourth semester examinations from December 22 to December 26 across 11 affiliated BEd colleges. A total of 1,511 students appeared for these exams, with 736 from the second semester and 775 from the fourth semester, covering six subjects in total.

Meticulous Planning and Execution

The valuation process commenced on December 31 at the university's dedicated evaluation building and was completed by 4:40 PM on January 5. During this period, 37 evaluators meticulously assessed a total of 4,417 answer scripts. Demonstrating exceptional coordination and the effective use of updated digital systems, the university managed to process and announce the final results by 4:50 PM on the same day.

Speaking about the process, Mandya University Registrar (Evaluation) G V Venkataramana revealed that 1,497 students successfully cleared the examinations, resulting in an impressive pass percentage of 98. He explained that the entire valuation was wrapped up in four days, with daily updates of assessed scripts being uploaded into the designated software. A thorough rechecking procedure was also implemented post-valuation to ensure absolute accuracy.

A Model of Efficiency and Transparency

Venkataramana credited this timely declaration to the efficient functioning of the exam wing and the adoption of streamlined, technology-driven processes. The university's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. K Shivachittappa, congratulated the team of evaluators and examination staff for their commitment and efficiency. He emphasized that such initiatives reflect the institution's unwavering dedication to academic excellence and transparency.

The Vice-Chancellor further stated that Mandya University is committed to continuing the implementation of such progressive measures. The focus remains on fostering institutional growth and ensuring the overall welfare of students, setting a new benchmark for others in the higher education sector to follow.
