National PG College Lucknow Admits International Students from 2026

National PG College Lucknow Opens Doors to International Students

National PG College in Lucknow will welcome international students for the first time starting from the 2026-27 academic session. This marks a significant expansion for the institution as it aims to attract candidates from SAARC countries and beyond.

Admission Process and Guidelines

The college finalized its admission roadmap during a committee meeting held on Saturday. It has now officially begun the admission process for the 2026-27 session. Applications are currently available on the official website www.npgc.in.

All undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will require entrance examinations. The college will publish the detailed schedule and guidelines for these exams on its website soon. Students are strongly advised to check the site regularly for official updates.

Separate admission guidelines for international applicants will be issued online to ensure a clear and fair process.

New Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme

A major highlight this year is the introduction of the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme. Under this new initiative, admissions for the BCom (e-commerce) programme will be conducted through a separate entrance examination.

This programme is designed to blend classroom learning with practical apprenticeship training. The goal is to enhance students' employability by providing hands-on experience alongside their academic studies.

Leadership and Coordination

To ensure the smooth implementation of the admission process, Professor Ramkrishna, head of the Hindi department, has been appointed as the admission coordinator. His role will be crucial in managing the new international admissions and the updated procedures.

This move positions National PG College as a more globally engaged institution while offering innovative educational pathways to its students.
