DAV Chandigarh Students Win Top Honours at Youth Fest

Students from DAV College, Sector 10 in Chandigarh, have brought immense pride to their institution by securing top honours at a prestigious inter-university cultural competition. The event, the State Youth Festival, was hosted by Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in Amritsar and took place from November 30 to December 3.

Celebrating Student Excellence in Folk Arts

The talented students showcased their skills in traditional Punjabi folk arts, competing against peers from various universities across the state. Gurkirat Singh demonstrated exceptional talent by clinching the first position in the 'Rassa Watna' category. Not far behind, Bhajanpreet Kaur displayed her prowess and earned the second position in 'Guddian Patole'.

College authorities were quick to highlight that these victories were not a matter of chance. They attributed the success to the students' consistent effort and dedicated preparation.
