The series follows the journey of the beloved but weary Inspector Hathiram Chaudhary, played by Jaideep Ahlawat. This season, he delves into a high-profile murder case that takes him to the remote corners of North-East India, where he confronts powerful forces and personal demons in his quest for truth. For his compelling portrayal, Jaideep Ahlawat won the Filmfare for Best Actor. Additionally, Tillotama Shome was recognised for her performance, bagging the award for Best Supporting Actor (Female).

Black Warrant's Critical Acclaim
Netflix's first-of-its-kind prison drama, Black Warrant, based on journalist Sunetra Choudhury's non-fiction book, also had a stellar night. The series won the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Series, along with awards for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.
The show offers a thrilling exploration of life inside Asia's largest prison, Tihar, through the eyes of a rookie jailer, Sunil Kumar Gupta. As Sunil navigates complex moral dilemmas and power struggles, the series reveals the raw reality of incarceration. Zahan Kapoor won the Best Actor (Critics) award for his role, while Rahul Bhat took home the trophy for Best Supporting Actor (Male). Anurag Thakur was awarded for his Breakthrough Performance by a Newcomer.
