TOI Launches Exciting Contest Ahead of International Fleet Review 2026
The Times of India has teamed up with the Eastern Naval Command to launch a special competition for readers. This initiative comes just before the International Fleet Review, which starts on February 15, 2026. Navies from around the world will participate in this grand event.
How the Competition Works
Every week for the next five weeks, TOI will publish three different parts of an Indian Navy ship. Your task is simple: identify the ship's name using these clues. You must submit your answer by the specified date each week.
This week marks the third and final part of the first week's puzzle. You need to assemble all three cutouts to form a complete picture of the ship. Then, guess its correct name.
Prize Details and Eligibility
Winners will receive exclusive memorabilia from the Indian Navy. The first twenty correct entries each week will qualify for prizes. However, naval personnel cannot participate in this contest.
Submission Guidelines
Follow these steps to enter the competition:
- Collect all three weekly cutouts from TOI.
- Assemble them to create a full photo of the ship.
- Take a clear picture of the assembled ship.
- Email this photo along with your name and postal address to Ifr26.indiannavy@gmail.com.
- Use "IFR 2026 competition" as the email subject line.
Important Note: Only entries with the correct ship name and a complete assembled photo using all three cutouts will count. Make sure your submission includes all required elements.
Deadline and Key Dates
You must send your answers by January 17, 2026. The International Fleet Review itself begins on February 15, 2026. This contest offers a rare opportunity to engage with India's naval heritage.
