Marvel Studios has officially announced the release date for its highly anticipated series VisionQuest. The show will premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2025, as confirmed by Disney during its upfront presentation on Tuesday.
A Trilogy Finale
According to Deadline, VisionQuest is being positioned as the concluding chapter of Marvel's WandaVision trilogy, which includes WandaVision, Agatha All Along, and now VisionQuest. Actor Paul Bettany, who reprises his role as the synthezoid Vision, made the announcement during the event.
Continuing Vision's Journey
The new series picks up after the events of WandaVision. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Vision was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War (2018), but later returned in WandaVision. According to Deadline, VisionQuest is believed to follow Vision as he attempts to regain his memories and reconnect with his humanity.
Trailer and Cast Reveals
Disney also screened a special trailer for advertisers and media buyers during the presentation. The trailer offered glimpses of how the series ties into WandaVision and Agatha All Along. It also confirmed the return of actor James Spader as the villainous Ultron.
Alongside Paul Bettany, the cast includes Todd Stashwick as Paladin, a mercenary and assassin whose technology is linked to Vision. Faran Tahir will reprise his role as Raza, the Ten Rings leader from the 2008 film Iron Man. Additionally, Deadline confirmed that Lauren Morais and Diane Morgan have joined the cast. Morais will play Lisa Molinari, a character connected to Thomas Shepherd (played by Ruaridh Mollica), while Morgan will portray an associate of Paladin.
