Renowned director Joshiy and acclaimed actor Joju George are set to join forces once again for a new Malayalam film, following their previous collaborations on 'Porinju Mariam Jose' and 'Antony'. The upcoming project is described as a family-oriented action thriller, promising a blend of emotional depth and high-octane sequences.

The film will feature Joju George in the lead role, and production is expected to commence in August this year. The makers are reportedly preparing for an official announcement soon, with fans eagerly anticipating further details.
Anoop Menon Joins as Writer
Anoop Menon has been brought on board to write the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the upcoming film. This marks the first-ever collaboration between Joshiy and Anoop Menon, as reported by Asianet News. The makers are reportedly planning the film as a commercial entertainer, with strong emotional and action elements blended seamlessly into the narrative.
The production will be handled by Joju George's own banner, Appu Pathu Pappu Production House, adding a personal touch to the project.
Joju George's Busy Schedule
Meanwhile, Joju George is currently occupied with several projects. His next directorial venture, 'Paripadi', is progressing in Thrissur, where he plays a character named Deluxe Benny. The film also features more than 100 newcomers in important roles alongside the actor, showcasing his commitment to nurturing fresh talent.
'Varavu' Gets New Release Date
At the same time, the makers of 'Varavu', directed by Shaji Kailas and starring Joju George, have officially announced a revised theatrical release date. The action thriller is now scheduled to hit theatres on June 12. Earlier, the film had been planned for release on May 1, but the date was postponed without confirmation of a new schedule at that time.
The screenplay of 'Varavu' was written by A. K. Sajan, who has previously collaborated with Shaji Kailas on films including 'Chinthamani Kolacase', 'Red Chillies', and 'Dhrona 2010'. He had also earlier penned Joju George's 'Pulimada'.
Set against the backdrop of the high ranges, 'Varavu' revolves around Polachan, also known as Poly, a wealthy planter portrayed by Joju George. On the technical side, the film features cinematography by S Saravanan, editing by Shameer Muhammed, and music composed by Sam C. S.
Apart from Joju George, the film also stars Vani Viswanath, Murali Gopy, Arjun Ashokan, Saniya Iyappan, Sukanya, Baburaj, and Vincy Aloshious in key roles.
