The morning ceremony was an intimate Tamil Brahmin puja, adhering strictly to traditional South Indian customs. In the evening, the celebrations transformed into a lively engagement party attended by close friends, family members, and several of Adrija's co-actors from the entertainment industry. The actress expressed her joy, stating, "It is a fantastic feeling to make my relationship official with the engagement. We had two functions—one intimate traditional ceremony and one festive gathering with loved ones."

Adrija explained the cultural significance, noting, "Since Vignuesh comes from a South Indian Tamil Brahmin family, their rituals dictated specific attire. His mother guided me, and we selected the Kanjeevaram silk sari from a reputable South Indian saree showroom in Bhiwandi. All our shopping was done there. We decided to wear contrasting outfits during the day but matched our evening wear according to tradition."

Adrija shared, "Rupali Ganguly was in the Maldives but we spoke over a voice call, and she showered me with blessings. Our producer, Rajan Shahi sir, also sent a lovely message expressing his heartfelt wishes since he couldn't make it, assuring that his blessings are always with Vignuesh and me."
