When asked by the host if she felt uncomfortable in the situation, the actress responded pointedly, "Tell me honestly, would any girl feel comfortable in that situation?"

Akanksha provided context to the viral moment, explaining that it was part of a pre-planned promotional event. "To be fair to everyone, let me explain what actually happened. It was a pre-planned promotional event, high-energy, live, with a huge audience response. The trailer had just been released, the song was out, and we were launching it as part of the promotion," she stated.
The actress revealed that they had already shot a small dance reel earlier for promotional purposes and were asked to recreate those moments during the event. "This was discussed beforehand," she emphasized, providing important context to the situation.
Outfit Restrictions and Physical Limitations
Akanksha shared that her outfit at the event significantly restricted her movements and contributed to her discomfort. "However, I’ll admit there may have been a slight error in judgment regarding my outfit. It was beautiful, but the long trail restricted my movement. I could barely move properly — I was balancing myself with one hand while trying to lift the trail with the other, so my body movements were limited," she explained.

The actress further elaborated on how the situation unfolded, noting that her co-stars got carried away during the performance. "We were briefed that I would perform with the bodyguard character, and then the actor playing my husband would step in and separate us — that was meant to be the end of the act," she said.
"Things happened in the heat of the moment. In my mind, we were already wrapping up because the director had suggested ending with a RK pose. But the act continued due to the loud applause from the audience. I think in that excitement, my co-actors got carried away and tried to give the audience something more," Akanksha added.
Calling for More Responsibility
While clarifying that she doesn't question her co-stars' intentions, Akanksha emphasized the need for greater responsibility during public performances. "I’m not questioning their intentions — I don’t believe it was planned or done with any wrong motive. But I do feel that more responsibility was needed. When you’re performing publicly, especially in front of the media, you also have a moral duty to respect your co-actor’s boundaries," she stated firmly.

Akanksha ended the conversation by making it clear that her composed reaction should not be misinterpreted as comfort or enjoyment. "I wasn’t comfortable. I was trying to stay composed instead of reacting the way I felt in that moment. Just because I didn’t react strongly doesn’t mean I was enjoying it. I wasn’t," she asserted.
The actress invited people to consider the situation from her perspective: "Put yourself in that position, regardless of gender, being caught between two people unexpectedly is not a comfortable situation, especially when you weren’t prepared for it. If I had known it was part of the act beforehand, I would have handled it differently."
