Akshay Kumar's horror-comedy 'Bhooth Bangla' has demonstrated consistent performance at the box office, crossing the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide during its third week. The film, currently in its third weekend, has amassed a substantial total despite the arrival of new releases affecting its earnings.
'Bhooth Bangla' Box Office Collection Day 16 (Third Sunday)
The Priyadarshan directorial earned Rs 84.40 crore in its first week at the Indian box office. In the second week, the film collected Rs 43.75 crore. According to Sacnilk, Day 16 witnessed a 3.3% drop in collections compared to Day 15.
On Day 16, 'Bhooth Bangla' collected Rs 4.35 crore across 4,435 shows. This brought the total India gross collection to Rs 162.73 crore, with net earnings reaching Rs 137 crore.

On Day 16, the film earned Rs 1.50 crore in overseas markets, pushing the total overseas gross to Rs 55 crore. The worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 217.73 crore.
Box Office Competition
The horror-comedy faces competition from Riteish Deshmukh's 'Raja Shivaji' and the Aamir Khan-backed film 'Ek Din', starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi. It also clashes with Hollywood releases such as the Michael Jackson biopic 'Michael' and the fashion film 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'.
