As the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) marked a monumental milestone of one hundred years, a prestigious two-day lecture series titled "100 Years of Sangh Journey: New Horizons" was organized in Mumbai. This historic centenary celebration was significantly elevated by the presence of numerous Bollywood luminaries, whose attendance infused the occasion with star power and vibrant energy.
Star-Studded Attendance on the Second Day
The second day of the event, held on February 8, 2026, witnessed an impressive gathering of film industry icons. Among the notable attendees were the celebrated Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, the acclaimed music composer Pritam, veteran actress Raveena Tandon, and rising star Ananya Panday. During the lecture series, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat delivered a significant address, urging citizens to remain vigilant against illegal infiltration. He emphasized the importance of detecting and reporting suspected foreigners to the police, advising against providing them employment.
Bhagwat highlighted that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise has already identified individuals residing in the country who are not citizens. "The government has a lot to do regarding infiltration. They have to detect and deport. This wasn't happening until now, but it has started little by little, and it will gradually increase," he stated.
He further elaborated, "When the census or the SIR is conducted, many people come to light who are not citizens of this country; they are automatically excluded from the process. But we can do one thing: we can work on detection. Their language gives them away. We should detect them and report them to the appropriate authorities."
Bhagwat concluded by reinforcing the need for public awareness, "We should inform the police that we suspect these people are foreigners, and they should investigate and keep an eye on them, and we will also keep an eye on them. We will not give employment to any foreigner. If someone is from our country, we will give them employment, but not to foreigners. You should be a little more vigilant and aware."
