Chandigarh's Kohana and Mishka Win Prizes at National Dance Drama Event
Chandigarh Girls Win at National Dance Drama Competition

City girls Kohana Sharma and Mishka Sharma have brought laurels to Chandigarh by securing the second position and a consolation prize, respectively, at the 71st All India Dance and Drama Competition held in Shimla. The event was organized by the All India Artist Association.

Representing Chandigarh in Junior Category

Kohana and Mishka, both members of the Ritika Performing Art Society, represented Chandigarh in the junior category of the competition. Their mentor, Abhishek Gangani, played a crucial role in their success by accompanying the performances on tabla and padhant (rhythmic recitation). Additionally, Dheeraj Verma enhanced the presentations through his beautiful vocal and lehra accompaniment, making the performances even more impactful.

Society President's Confidence

Guru Pannalal Gangani, president of the society, expressed confidence that these talented young artists would continue to bring pride to the city. The achievements of Kohana and Mishka highlight the rich cultural talent nurtured in Chandigarh.
