Cher Reportedly Left Speechless by Secret Granddaughter Revelation
In a shocking family disclosure, legendary singer Cher was reportedly left stunned after former model Kayti Edwards claimed the icon recently learned she has a secret granddaughter through her son, Elijah Blue Allman. According to an interview with The U.S. Sun published on Sunday, Edwards alleged that she dated Allman in 2010 and gave birth to their daughter, Ever, that same year. She asserted that Cher later contacted her directly after hearing about the child and reacted with profound shock, adding a new layer to the family's already public struggles, which include Elijah's reported overdoses, legal issues, and Cher's renewed conservatorship filing.
Details of the Alleged Family Secret
Edwards told The U.S. Sun that Cher reached out to her in June 2025 after first hearing about Ever from Allman during a 2021 overdose incident. Initially, Cher dismissed the claim as crazy talk, but later sought confirmation. Cher got in touch with me last June and asked if it was true, so I had to confess, Edwards said. When she heard the news, she was speechless. She added that Cher then excitedly informed relatives, Oh my God, I'm finally a grandma. Edwards described a brief romance with Allman, resulting in pregnancy after one night together, and claimed he always knew about the child but never wanted to be a parent, only checking in sporadically.
Family Drama and Conservatorship Case Intensify
Edwards, who is now married, stated that Allman attempted to reconnect in 2021 following an overdose, texting her to make amends. She emphasized that Ever has a dedicated father who raised her from day one, saying, She has a father who has raised her from day one and that is her dad. I couldn't ask for a better father for my kids. Additionally, Edwards claimed Cher welcomed her and Ever to her Malibu home in September 2025, describing the singer as lovely and kind during a dinner visit where Cher showed Ever a pair of jeans she had worn in concert, acting like a kid herself.
Page Six reported that Cher's representatives did not immediately comment on the allegations. The outlet also detailed Cher's renewed conservatorship filing for Elijah, citing his severe drug dependency and financial mismanagement. Court papers obtained by Page Six stated, Elijah has no ability to manage money, and any dollar he receives from his father's trust, his only source of income, is immediately squandered without regard for his liabilities or well-being. The report noted Elijah's arrest in February on alleged assault and trespassing charges at a school, further complicating the family's public image.
