Dharmendra Discharged from Hospital: Health Update After Breathing Scare
Dharmendra Discharged, Health Update After Hospital Stay

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, affectionately known as the industry's 'He-Man', has returned to his Juhu residence after a brief hospital stay that caused widespread concern among his fans. The 89-year-old icon was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital after experiencing breathing difficulties.

Family Confirms Discharge and Home Recovery

An official statement from Sunny Deol's team confirmed the development, announcing that Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. The family has explicitly requested the media and the public to avoid speculation and respect their privacy during this period.

The statement expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and prayers from well-wishers, adding a heartfelt note: "Please respect him because he loves you." This message has brought significant relief to the actor's countless admirers.

Filmmaker Guddu Dhanoa Provides Reassuring Update

Soon after Dharmendra returned home, his cousin and filmmaker Guddu Dhanoa paid a visit. Speaking briefly to the media gathered outside the actor's house, Dhanoa offered a comforting, albeit concise, update on the star's condition.

"He is doing fine. I can't say much beyond that; I don't know the details," Dhanoa stated. His immediate visit and reassuring words served to calm the nerves of anxious fans, confirming that the veteran is on the path to recovery.

False Rumours and Family's Stern Response

The actor's hospitalization three days ago led to a flurry of irresponsible rumours online. Several portals falsely claimed he was on ventilator support, while others spread malicious news about his demise.

This prompted a strong response from his family. His daughter, Esha Deol, took to social media to condemn the false reports, stating, "The media seems to be in over-drive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy." His wife, veteran actress Hema Malini, also reacted strongly to the irresponsible speculation.

Dharmendra, with a career spanning over six decades, remains one of Indian cinema's most beloved figures. He was last seen in 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Ulja Jiya' and is set to appear next in Sriram Raghavan's 'Ikkis' alongside Agastya Nanda.
