The private gathering brought together family members including Dharmendra's first wife Prakash Kaur and their children Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeet, and Vijeta.

The emotional ceremony saw the presence of Dharmendra's grandsons Karan and Rajveer, along with actor Abhay Deol. Despite the private nature of the event, photos and videos later surfaced online, capturing the family's emotional moments as they greeted guests between 5:30 pm and 8 pm.
