The threat included a clear warning. The caller stated there would be dire consequences if the money was not paid within the given timeframe. This has raised serious concerns about the safety of the artists involved.

Suspicious Phone Calls Precede Threat

Dilnoor explained the sequence of events leading to the threat. On January 5, he noticed two missed calls on his phone. Both calls originated from a foreign number. Dilnoor chose not to answer these calls.

The situation escalated the next day. On January 6, Dilnoor received another call. This call also came from a foreign number, but it was different from the previous ones. This time, Dilnoor decided to answer the phone.

During the conversation, Dilnoor quickly sensed something was wrong. The caller's behavior and questions seemed suspicious. Feeling uneasy, Dilnoor ended the call by hanging up.

Voice Message Delivers Ransom Demand

Immediately after the phone call ended, Dilnoor received a voice message. This audio message contained the explicit ransom threat. In the recording, the caller allegedly repeated the demand for Rs 10 crore.

The voice message reiterated the one-week deadline. It also contained a specific threat against B Praak. The caller warned that B Praak would face serious harm if the ransom was not paid on time.

Mohali Police Launch Investigation

The Mohali police have confirmed they are investigating the matter. Authorities have registered the complaint and started official proceedings. Police officials stated they are actively working on the case.
