The Sahnewal police have registered a case against a resident of Natt village under Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for allegedly attacking and causing the death of a man from Dharaur village. Authorities are actively searching for the suspect.

Suspect Identified in Fatal Attack

The case has been filed against Baljinder Singh, who is accused of attacking and killing Gurdeep Singh, the brother of Balkar Singh, both residents of Dharaur village. In his complaint, Balkar Singh stated that Baljinder, in a fit of anger, attacked his brother Gurdeep, resulting in his death. Following an investigation, the police formally registered the case.

Police Investigation Underway

Sahnewal Station House Officer (SHO) Dalvir Singh confirmed that the incident occurred in the heat of the moment. “We are investigating the motive and sequence of events,” he said. The police are continuing their search for the accused, Baljinder Singh, and are working to piece together the circumstances that led to the fatal altercation.
