Dipika Kakar Shares Emotional Health Update After Liver Cyst Surgery

Popular television actress Dipika Kakar has recently faced another significant health challenge following her previous battle with liver cancer. The actress underwent a surgical procedure to remove a 1.3 centimeter cyst discovered in her liver, marking another chapter in her ongoing health journey.

Medical Procedure Details and Recovery Timeline

Kakar underwent a specialized medical process known as Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), which involves burning the cyst rather than traditional surgical removal. The procedure was conducted in a CT room rather than a standard operating theater, taking advantage of the cyst's small size for this less invasive approach.

"If it was bigger, the procedure would have been more difficult. Thank God, we found out at the right time," the actress revealed in her recent YouTube vlog, expressing gratitude for early detection.

Following the three-day medical procedure, Kakar has returned home and is currently in the recovery phase, though she continues to experience residual pain from the treatment.

Emotional and Physical Challenges

The actress opened up about the intense emotional and physical challenges she faced throughout the medical process. "I was very nervous. I was crying a lot," Kakar confessed, describing her pre-surgery anxiety that required medical staff intervention to help calm her.

Upon regaining consciousness after the procedure, Kakar experienced what she described as "excruciating pain" that lasted approximately thirty minutes before medication could be properly administered. "This time when I came to my senses, I was in a lot of pain," she shared with her audience.

Ongoing Recovery Process

Despite being home and progressing through recovery, Kakar continues to experience discomfort. "I still have pain here and there. And of course, it will remain," she explained, noting that the nature of the pain has changed as her body heals from the burned wound created during the RFA procedure.

The actress detailed how even simple movements continue to cause discomfort, though she emphasized that the pain has diminished from its initial intensity following the surgery.

Gratitude for Support System

In an emotional segment of her video, Kakar expressed profound gratitude to her fans and well-wishers for their unwavering support throughout her health challenges. She became visibly emotional while reading supportive comments from followers who have encouraged her strength and recovery.

"The courage that your comments give me, telling me that I am very strong, everything will be fine, don't worry, everything will be fine through Ruhaan's truth, Ruhaan's mother will get better, all this is very valuable to me," she translated from Hindi, referencing her son Ruhaan.

Kakar's health journey continues to resonate with her audience as she navigates recovery from this latest medical procedure while maintaining transparency about both the physical and emotional aspects of her experience.
