East Coast Vijayan's Valentine's Day Nostalgia Returns with New Song 'Ithiri Ponnoru'
For generations of Malayalis, the name East Coast Vijayan has become synonymous with Valentine's Day nostalgia. His iconic romantic albums—'Ninakkayi', 'Aadyamay', 'Ormmakkayi', and 'Swandham'—have collectively defined an era of innocence, purity, and heartfelt romance in Malayali music culture.
A Legacy of Romantic Melodies
Each of Vijayan's albums found a permanent place in listeners' memories, shaping musical sensibilities that celebrated love in its gentlest, most sincere forms. He later expanded his romantic repertoire with albums like 'Iniyennum', 'Ennennum', and 'Veendum', all maintaining the soothing, emotional quality that made his earlier work so beloved.
This Valentine's season, East Coast Vijayan returns with yet another musical gift for his devoted fans—the freshly released song 'Ithiri Ponnoru' from his upcoming film 'Bhishmar'. The film stars Vishu Unnikrishnan and Dhyan Sreenivasan in lead roles, marking their first on-screen collaboration together.
