Elvish Yadav Celebrates Supreme Court Victory as Snake Venom Case FIR is Quashed

Popular YouTuber and reality TV star Elvish Yadav, currently captivating audiences on Laughter Chefs 3, has secured a major legal victory. The Supreme Court of India on Thursday quashed the First Information Report (FIR) and all subsequent legal proceedings against him in the high-profile snake venom case registered under the Wildlife (Protection) Act by Uttar Pradesh Police in 2023.

A Long-Awaited Relief After Years of Struggle

Elvish Yadav took to his official Instagram handle to express his profound happiness and relief following the Supreme Court's decision. In an emotional video message, he detailed the immense mental torture and harassment he and his family endured for more than two years after a false case was registered against him.

"Hello everyone, today is a very happy day," Elvish began. "First of all, my heartfelt wishes to all of you on Gudi Padwa, happy Navratri, and best wishes for Navratri. And today is also Independence Day for your brother, because I am very happy to say that the Supreme Court has dismissed my snake case."

He emphasized his unwavering faith in the Indian judiciary, stating, "I always had faith in our judiciary system, in our justice system, that justice will be served, and today it has been served. Whoever has done wrong will get punished, and whoever has done nothing will be saved."

Recalling the Trauma of False Allegations

Elvish Yadav specifically recalled March 17, 2024, the date he was arrested in connection with the case, marking the beginning of an arduous two-and-a-half-year ordeal. "Since that day I kept saying that I did nothing, I did nothing," he reiterated.

He described how the case, registered in November 2023, led to relentless media trials and false reporting that tarnished his reputation. "The media kept running so many news reports saying that I did this, I did that. I faced so much harassment for two and a half years. There was a stain on my name and on my family’s name. My family was harassed so much, and what we went through, I pray that none of you ever have to face that."

With conviction, he declared, "But today, truth has won. Today, truth has won. Today we have won. Today is a very big day for me."

A Bittersweet Victory and Unanswered Questions

While celebrating the legal closure, Elvish Yadav posed poignant questions about accountability for the personal suffering inflicted during the prolonged case. "Everything is fine now, the case happened, we fought it, we won, everything is settled. But I just have one small question for all of you — the two and a half years of harassment that I and my family faced, my family cried on national television, we suffered so much for something I never did… who will make up for that?"

He directly addressed the media outlets that propagated the allegations, asking, "Will anyone come and say sorry? The media that ran so many false stories, that created so much chaos, will anyone apologize to me? What is the compensation for that time that we lost?"

Reflecting on the irreplaceable loss, he added, "I don’t even want anyone’s apology, but the time we went through… how will that ever be repaid? I don’t know who to ask this question to."

Moving Forward with Gratitude and Resilience

Despite the lingering pain, Elvish Yadav concluded his message on a note of gratitude and optimism. "But still, I am very happy today, and I want to stay happy. May God never bring such a difficult time in anyone’s life. It came in mine, but our comeback has been strong, because I have very good people with me."

The Supreme Court's order brings a definitive end to the legal battle for the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner, allowing him to focus fully on his burgeoning entertainment career, including his current stint on Laughter Chefs 3, free from the shadow of this case.
