Kajal Aggarwal Replaces Nayanthara in NBK111

Tollywood veteran Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Gopichand Malineni are collaborating on an upcoming movie tentatively titled ‘NBK111’. While Nayanthara was initially announced as the female lead, the latest reports indicate that Kajal Aggarwal has replaced her.

Kajal Aggarwal Joins the Team

According to Moneycontrol, Nayanthara is no longer part of the project, and Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in her place. Reports further suggest that she has joined the film and started shooting as of today. The team believes she is a good fit for the role, and this duo will bring a fresh pairing to the screen.

Why Did Nayanthara Opt Out?

Several reasons have been cited for the casting change. It is reported that Nayanthara demanded a high payment, close to ten crore rupees. The makers also faced difficulties matching her dates. Additionally, she typically does not participate in film promotions, which posed challenges for the team. Consequently, the makers decided to move forward without her.

Earlier, the makers had teased Nayanthara’s involvement on her birthday with a post: “The Queen who carries the Calm of Oceans and the Fury of Storms, #Nayanthara enters the empire of #NBK111. Warm birthday wishes from the team. HISTORICAL ROAR loading… with gigantic updates soon.”

Why Was Kajal Aggarwal Roped In?

Kajal Aggarwal agreed to adjust her dates, and her payment suited the film’s budget. She is also ready to assist with promotions, making her the ideal choice for the team.

The film is described as a mass action movie. The team has already completed an important shooting schedule featuring action sequences. They are currently working on selecting a strong title. There is also speculation about another heroine joining, but no clear update has been provided yet.

The film is expected to release by the end of this year.
