Bhopal: Kalanjali, the city's premier classical arts institution, will celebrate 27 years of dance and music with its annual festival Kalanjali Kalotsav on Friday, June 12, at Hamsadhwani Auditorium, Ravindra Bhawan. The event begins at 5:30 PM.
Founding and Legacy
Established in 1998 by Bharatanatyam maestro Guru Shri Pradeep Krishnan, Kalanjali has spent nearly three decades training young dancers and preserving India's classical traditions in Madhya Pradesh.
Rangapravesham: A Milestone Ceremony
The highlight of the evening will be the Rangapravesham, a traditional debut ceremony where 27 students will perform as trained classical dancers for the first time after years of rigorous practice and dedication.
Over 100 performers will participate in the festival, which also features live classical music by musicians from Pune and Mumbai, along with vibrant folk dance performances.
Distinguished Guests
Tourism Secretary Dr. Ilayaraja T. (IAS) and BHEL General Manager Shri Rupesh Telang will attend as chief guests.
