Vidnyan Mane Makes Explosive Claims About Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana's Cancelled Wedding

Actor-producer Vidnyan Mane has come forward with startling revelations about the events leading up to the cancellation of the highly anticipated wedding between singer-composer Palaash Muchhal and Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana. In a detailed conversation with Hindustan Times, Mane, who identifies himself as a childhood friend of Mandhana, made serious allegations against Muchhal, claiming infidelity and financial misconduct.

Cheating Allegations and Wedding Day Confrontation

Mane asserted that Muchhal was caught red-handed with another woman during the wedding celebrations on November 23, 2025. "I was at the wedding celebrations when he was caught red-handed with another woman in bed," Mane told the news outlet. "Bhayanak scene tha, he was beaten up by the Indian female cricketers."

The actor-producer described the incident as dramatic and claimed that Muchhal faced physical confrontation from Mandhana's friends following the discovery. These claims, however, remain unverified by independent sources, and Live Mint has reported it could not independently confirm Mane's allegations.

Financial Dispute and Legal Complaint

Beyond the personal allegations, Mane detailed a significant financial dispute with Muchhal. He alleged that the composer cheated him out of ₹40 lakh in connection with producing an unreleased film. According to Mane, a formal complaint has been filed in Sangli, Maharashtra, regarding this matter.

"When I met his mother (Amita Muchhal) last month, she said the budget to release the movie has now increased to ₹1.5 crore," Mane explained. "They asked me to invest another ₹10 lakh or I wouldn't get any money back. They started blackmailing me and threatened to throw me out of the film, thus I was forced to file a complaint."

Mane further claimed that after the wedding was called off, the Muchhal family blocked him from all communication channels. He also discovered that other artists involved in the film project had not received their due payments. "I had heard of directors fleecing producers in the film industry but this is complete theft," he added.

Palash Muchhal's Strong Denial

In response to these serious allegations, Palash Muchhal has issued a firm denial through his Instagram Stories. "In light of the allegations made by Sangli-based Vidnyan Mane on social media, I wish to state that these claims against me are entirely baseless and factually incorrect," Muchhal wrote.

He continued, "They have been made with malicious intent to tarnish my reputation, and they will not go unchallenged. My lawyer, Shreyansh Mithare, is exploring all legal avenues, and this matter will be dealt with strictly through the appropriate legal channels."

Background of the Cancelled Wedding

Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana were scheduled to marry on November 23, 2025. The wedding was abruptly postponed at the last minute after Mandhana's father was hospitalized. Interestingly, Muchhal was also admitted to a hospital the following day.

Soon after the cancellation, rumors began circulating that Muchhal had cheated on Mandhana, with some reports suggesting involvement with the wedding choreographer. However, the choreographers named in these rumors—Palash, Gulnaaz, and Nandika Dwivedi—later clarified they had no role in the wedding's cancellation.

Official Statements from the Couple

Both Muchhal and Mandhana have maintained relative silence on the matter since announcing the wedding's cancellation. In her statement, Mandhana simply stated she needed to "clarify that the wedding is called off" and requested privacy.

Muchhal, in his statement, wrote, "I have decided to move on in my life and step back from my personal relationship. Its been very difficult for me to see people react so easily on baseless rumours about something which has been most sacred to me. Its the most difficult phase of my life and I will deal with it gracefully holding on to my beliefs."

The situation remains complex with conflicting narratives from different parties involved. While Vidnyan Mane has made serious allegations of both personal misconduct and financial fraud, Palash Muchhal has categorically denied all claims and indicated legal action. The truth behind these allegations and the actual reasons for the wedding cancellation continue to be subjects of speculation and investigation.
