Manish Raisinghani, a familiar face from popular Indian television series such as Kaahin Kissii Roz, Kahiin to Hoga, Kkehna Hai Kuch Mujhko, Teen Bahuraniyaan, Sasural Simar, and Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman, is now making waves behind the camera. The actor has transitioned into a multifaceted filmmaker, actively writing and producing content across various mediums including films, television, web series, and vertical formats.
Acting Experience Fuels Directorial Success
Raisinghani has not only taken on production roles but has also acted in some of these projects alongside other cast members. He believes his extensive acting career provides a significant advantage in his new ventures. "Being an actor has given me a certain advantage," he explained. "I understand and respect the itch in them, that hunger to perform in those unexplored dimensions, to become something you’re not or you have never been."
This deep connection with performers allows him to foster an environment where actors can thrive. "When you meet actors who carry that same hunger, something special happens; you don’t have to pull performances out of them, you simply create the space where they can surprise you," he added.

Raisinghani emphasizes the importance of working with like-minded collaborators who share his passion for excellence. He often returns to the same artists, not for comfort, but because they consistently push boundaries. "That’s also why I find myself going back to the same collaborators. Not out of comfort, but because they’re never comfortable, they’re always chasing more," he stated.
He highlighted a notable example with actor Rahul Sudhir. Initially working together as co-actors, Raisinghani later cast Sudhir in a different role, transforming a main villain into a character reminiscent of a Maharani of Sadak. "Rahul didn’t just accept it; he expanded it. He built layers, imagined a full backstory, and brought in dimensions that didn’t just elevate his character but also thickened the entire narrative. That’s the kind of actor you hold on to," Raisinghani shared.
Building a Creative Ensemble
In his filmmaking endeavors, Raisinghani has been fortunate to collaborate with a talented ensemble of performers. This group includes Naazneen Patel, Vikas Verma, Abdul Aziz, Sangeita Chauhaan, Jai Shewaramani, and popular influencer Instant Shiva. According to Raisinghani, these artists have not only played their parts effectively but have also expanded the creative possibilities within the stories.
Reflecting on his role as a creator, Raisinghani outlined his approach: "As a creator, my job is simple: bring conviction, create trust, and raise the bar. The rest is taken care of when you’re surrounded by people who are just as hungry to outdo themselves as you are."

"And honestly, that’s the only kind of storytelling I’m interested in where everyone involved leaves the story bigger than they found it," he asserted.
