"Had an event in Karnal last night, and I'm disgusted with the behaviour of the guests, especially two uncles who are well-aged enough to be grandparents," the actress wrote. She revealed that as the event commenced and she walked toward the stage area, several male family members of the organizers placed their hands on her waist under the pretext of taking photographs.
The actress expressed her discomfort with this inappropriate physical contact, stating clearly that she didn't like it. When she politely requested, "Sir, please remove your hand," her words were completely ignored by the individuals involved. This initial boundary violation set the tone for what would become an increasingly distressing experience.
Escalation to Lewd Remarks and Gestures During Performance
The situation deteriorated further once Mouni Roy began her performance on stage. She described how two older men positioned themselves directly in front of the stage and began making lewd remarks while displaying inappropriate hand gestures. Instead of heeding her request, the men responded by throwing roses at her during her performance.
