Initial Reluctance and Typecasting Concerns
Paramvir Cheema admitted that he was initially hesitant to sign on for Border 2 due to fears of being overshadowed in an ensemble cast. He shared, "As an actor, I am always conscious about not getting typecast. I want people to see different versions of me as a versatile actor." When approached for an audition through Mukesh Chhabra's office, his first concern was whether he would be noticed among such big names. Most of Paramvir's scenes in Border 2 were with Varun Dhawan, and he initially felt stressed about the dynamic. He explained, "Varun is a very big star, and I didn't know how he would be on set.
