During the latest proceedings, counsel representing Rajpal Yadav informed the court that the actor is prepared to deposit Rs 1.5 crore through a Fixed Deposit Receipt without any attached conditions. The court officially recorded that a demand draft of Rs 25 lakh is already in the name of the respondents, with an additional Rs 75 lakh DD having been submitted earlier. The remaining amount must now be furnished through proper banking channels.
