Rajpal Yadav Opens Up About Emotional Struggles During 'Bhooth Bangla' Production
As the highly anticipated comedy-horror film 'Bhooth Bangla' approaches its release date, veteran actor Rajpal Yadav has revealed deeply personal challenges he faced during its production. In an emotional interview, Yadav disclosed that he lost his father while filming was underway and received news of veteran comedian Asrani's passing shortly after the shoot concluded.
A Heartbreaking Personal Journey
Yadav described this period as particularly difficult, with the film's shooting schedule coinciding with his father's hospitalization. "On one hand, the film shooting was underway, and on the other, my father was admitted to the ICU," Yadav recalled. "My father passed away while we were still shooting this film."
The emotional turmoil continued when Yadav learned about Asrani's death soon after completing the film. Despite having shared a meal with the veteran actor recently, Yadav couldn't attend Asrani's final rites due to personal family responsibilities at home.
Moving Tribute to a Comedy Legend
Yadav paid heartfelt homage to Asrani, describing him as an immortal figure in Indian cinema. "I've watched him since childhood and later worked with him in many films," Yadav shared. "Truly, wherever Asrani sir was, the entire unit can vouch that he would light up the atmosphere."
The actor emphasized Asrani's lasting legacy, stating: "Asrani sir is immortal. If you list 100 names from the past 100 years, Asrani sir would be one of the most important legends among them. He is immortal and will always remain so. May his blessings stay with us, and may God grant peace to his soul."
