At the 'Khalnayak Returns' event, Sanjay Dutt shared that the idea for 'Khalnayak Returns' dates back to his time in prison during the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. "I asked around who would want a sequel to 'Khal Nayak', and nearly 4,000 inmates showed interest," he revealed.
