The reunion brought together actors Rupali Ganguly, Rajesh Kumar, and Sumeet Raghavan, along with producers JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia, as well as other cast and crew members. The gathering was an emotional affair, filled with nostalgia and fond memories of the show.
Rupali Ganguly shares reunion moments
Rupali Ganguly, who played the iconic character Monisha Sarabhai, took to social media to share glimpses from the reunion. She posted a group photo featuring the entire Sarabhai vs Sarabhai gang, all smiling brightly. In the picture, Rupali looked stunning in a pink saree, standing alongside Rajesh Kumar, Sumeet Raghavan, and others. She captioned the post in Marathi, "Hee Dosti Tutaychi Naay" (This friendship will never end).
In addition to the photo, Rupali shared a candid video with Rajesh Kumar from inside a car, writing, "This was supposed to be posted at 8pm #sarabhaivssarabhai". In the video, the duo recreated the signature style and mannerisms of their beloved characters, Rosesh and Monisha, much to the delight of fans.
Emotional tribute to Satish Shah
Sumeet Raghavan, who portrayed Sahil Sarabhai, reshared the reunion photo and penned an emotional note remembering the late Satish Shah. The veteran actor played the role of Indravadan Sarabhai, the father of Sumeet and Rajesh's characters, in the cult show. Sumeet wrote, "Missed our Indu... Sarabhais aren't complete without our Naradmuni. We are sure dad must be watching over us. Miss you Satish kaka."
Sarabhai vs Sarabhai first premiered in 2004 and quickly became one of the most cherished family sitcoms on Indian television. Produced by JD Majethia and created by Aatish Kapadia, the show featured a stellar cast including Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghavan, Rajesh Kumar, and Deven Bhojani in prominent roles.
Remembering Satish Shah
Satish Shah, who immortalized the character of Indravadan Sarabhai, passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 74. According to reports, the veteran actor died in Mumbai due to kidney-related health complications. During his funeral, the entire Sarabhai vs Sarabhai cast gathered around his pyre and sang the show's iconic title track, bidding their beloved co-star a final goodbye in a deeply emotional moment.
