Shahid Kapoor, who shared screen space with Kaushal in the 2019 blockbuster Kabir Singh, expressed deep admiration for the late actress during an interview with ANI. The actor described working with her as both "a pleasure and a privilege" and remembered her as "such a wonderful soul."

Reflecting on their time together on set, Kapoor emphasized Kaushal's professional excellence and personal warmth. "She brought a lot of warmth and a lot of dignity to 'Kabir Singh' and she will always be remembered for being a fantastic artist," he stated. The actor also noted that despite her advanced age during the filming, "she was so sharp and she was so professional and she was so kind and warm."

Kamini Kaushal's final rites were performed on Saturday in an intimate ceremony attended by close family members. Her mortal remains were transported from her Mumbai residence to the crematorium, marking the end of an era in Indian cinema.

Kaushal was one of the leading actresses during the golden era of Indian cinema, particularly active in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Throughout her distinguished career, she shared the screen with some of Bollywood's biggest icons, including:

The actor is currently in Delhi shooting for his upcoming film Cocktail 2 alongside co-stars Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna. Expressing his connection to the capital city, Kapoor said, "Delhi is like home. I was born here. So whenever I come here.. I have a lot of memories. Always great fun coming to Delhi."

When asked about enjoying Delhi's famous cuisine, the actor humorously noted, "When I don't have to walk the ramp, I try the food. It is an amazing, amazing experience." The shooting schedule will keep the team in Delhi for several more days.
