One of my closest friends had invited me, so I attended and was having a good time. They invited me to the stage and handed me a bouquet. Since it was a very good event with amazing shayars, I wanted to say something. All I wanted to say was 'thank you' and appreciate the poets there. They deserved to be honored."
Organizer's Refusal Leads to Confusion and Embarrassment
Sunil Pal explained that an unknown person on stage refused to hand him the microphone, despite multiple requests. He felt confused and embarrassed as the situation unfolded in front of an audience that was recording the incident. The comedian added, "Everyone there was watching and recording the video of me on stage because they thought I was being honored, but look what happened. I felt insulted."
