But individually, I have earned my own name. Now, wherever I go, people know me as Sunita Ahuja. I might have even forgotten that I am Govinda's wife! He is my husband, but one should have their own identity, right?"

To illustrate her point, Sunita referenced a recent incident involving veteran actress and politician Jaya Bachchan. She recalled Jaya Bachchan's reaction in Parliament when addressed as 'Jaya Amitabh Bachchan'.
"Just like Jaya ji once said in Parliament when she was called 'Jaya Amitabh Bachchan'. But she is Jaya Bhaduri! Please, everyone knows her! She is a legend. Amit ji is with her, but shouldn't one have their own identity, brother?" Sunita remarked, highlighting the universal need for personal acknowledgment beyond a spouse's fame.
