Govinda's Wife Sunita's Rare Diwali Moment with SRK Goes Viral Online
Govinda, the beloved Bollywood star celebrated for iconic films such as Hero No. 1, Coolie No. 1, Saajan Chale Sasural, Raja Babu, and Partner, has captivated audiences for decades. While the actor frequently makes headlines for his bold statements and various controversies, a recently resurfaced photograph has unexpectedly shifted public attention to his wife, Sunita Ahuja.
Throwback Diwali Photo Creates Online Buzz
An old picture from a Diwali celebration has reappeared across social media platforms, showing Sunita Ahuja posing alongside superstar Shah Rukh Khan. This rare festive moment, which quickly captured the fascination of fans, has gone viral, drawing significant online engagement and discussion.
The throwback image is reportedly from a Diwali party hosted by noted producer Ramesh Taurani. During that season, Shah Rukh Khan was maintaining a relatively low profile with limited public appearances, making this particular photograph especially noteworthy and unique.
In the viral photo, Shah Rukh Khan appears sharp and stylish in a black shirt, with his hair styled in a brown-blonde hue, showcasing his trademark intense expression. Sunita Ahuja, elegantly dressed in a golden-ivory ensemble, beams with a bright smile beside him. Her son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, accompanied her to the event, adding to the family context of the image. The unexpected pairing of Sunita and SRK in a single frame generated considerable excitement and chatter across digital platforms.
Sunita's Candid Remarks on Son Yashvardhan's Career Struggles
In a recent candid interview with Miss Malini, Sunita Ahuja openly discussed the challenges faced by her son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, in establishing his career within the film industry. She emphasized that Yash has built his journey independently, without relying on his father's influence or assistance.
"Yash is a self-made boy. He hasn't taken help from his father. He has given 90 auditions... Govinda also never helped Yash," Sunita stated clearly during the conversation.
She further revealed that she directly questioned Govinda about his role in supporting their children's aspirations. "I told Govinda on his face, 'Tu baap hai ki kya hai? If you won't help our kids, who will?'" she recounted, highlighting her forthright approach in addressing family dynamics.
Govinda's Response to Family Support and Political Priorities
In response to these discussions, Govinda provided clarification regarding his stance and priorities. Speaking to ANI, he explained his decision to step away from politics to focus on his family's well-being.
"I left politics for my family as I did not want political life to hamper my family life and have an adverse effect on them — especially my children. So I stepped out of politics," Govinda affirmed.
He also addressed the topic of career guidance for his son, Yashvardhan. "Maine Nadiadwala se kaha, toh he gave his guidance to Yash kaise filmein banayi jati hain, kaam kiya jata hai. (I asked Nadiadwala to guide my son, and he helped him learn different aspects of filmmaking)," Govinda added, indicating efforts to facilitate professional mentorship outside direct parental intervention.
Govinda Dismisses Affair Rumors with Philosophical Reflection
Alongside conversations about his son's career, Govinda also took the opportunity to address persistent rumors regarding alleged affairs. When questioned about these claims, he firmly dismissed them, offering a philosophical perspective on public scrutiny.
"Dekhiye, kab nahi laga yeh aarop mujhpe? Shuru shuru mein ladkiyon ko touch karne ke liye haath kaanpte the mere naa, tab bhi mera chala diya tha logon ne. Toh jo aarop laga rahe hain, woh mere bachpan ka pyaar hai. Yeh pyaar ke mamle mein mera kabhi proper nahi chala. Jawani ka pyaar bhi mujhe chhod gaya. Ab jo yeh pyaar ho raha hai, kisi ke sochne ke mutabik, yeh budhape ka hai. Jis waqt saand ko poori zindagi log istemaal karte hain, phir woh khet jotne ke layak nahi rehta aise logon ko lagne lagta hai, toh isko bhej do katal khaane mein. Kya farak padhta hai?"
Translated, Govinda reflected on how such allegations have followed him since early in his career, even when he was nervous around women. He described the rumors as an "old love from childhood" and lamented that love never truly worked out for him, with youthful love having faded away. He metaphorically compared the situation to a bull used throughout its life, only to be deemed unfit and sent to slaughter in old age, questioning what difference it ultimately makes.
Govinda's remarks underscore the challenges public figures often face, where speculation and allegations persist regardless of factual accuracy, impacting personal and professional narratives over time.
