Tara Sutaria Teases 'Toxic' Release, Avengers-Like Scene

Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria has been generating significant excitement among fans for the upcoming film 'Toxic', which features actor Yash in the lead role. While attending the Cannes Film Festival, Sutaria offered glimpses into the film and hinted at spectacular sequences awaiting audiences on the big screen.

Discussing her experience working on the film, Sutaria expressed immense satisfaction. She stated, 'Doing Toxic, to me, is so satisfactory. It's so pleasing. And I also just want to be on sets that make me feel good, that are led well with integrity and with purpose and intention.'

The actress also praised director Geetu Mohandas and her leadership approach. She commented, 'We have all of these things with Geetu Mohandas and with Yash. It has been the joy of my life to work with Geetu and to be led by a woman... a world of a difference, on set.'

Sutaria further highlighted the film's scale and tone, emphasizing the powerful roles played by women. Speaking about her character Rebecca, she said, 'She's fascinating. All of the women in this film are fascinating. It's an ensemble cast film. Everyone has immense power, courage, is fearless.' She added, 'It's fabulous. I think it's globally going to be something that people don't expect.'

Tara Sutaria Teases Avengers-Like Scene

During a lighter moment, Sutaria playfully hinted at slow-motion shots reminiscent of Marvel's 'The Avengers'. When asked if fans could expect all the leading women to come together in an epic scene, she teased, 'We'll see... I feel like it'll be there.'

'Toxic' Postponed Again

Fans of Yash will have to wait longer for the film's release. 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups' was postponed from its original June 4 date following a strong reception at CinemaCon.

Yash Releases Statement on 'Toxic' Release

In a statement released on April 29, Yash announced that the film will now release worldwide on a new date, to be announced soon. He explained the delay, saying, 'There are films we make, and then there are films that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. 'Toxic' has been one such journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and witnessing the overwhelming global response reaffirmed what we have always believed: this film deserves to reach its fullest potential worldwide. While we will not be releasing on June 4 as announced earlier, we will be releasing at a later, globally aligned date.'
