UK07 Rider's Manager Reveals Family Disownment, Dowry Case Amid Crash Fallout
Anurag Dobhal, the adventure-seeking YouTuber famously known as UK07 Rider, has captivated millions with his high-octane motorcycle vlogs and appearances on Bigg Boss Season 17. However, recent events have thrust him into the spotlight for deeply personal and distressing reasons. Following a two-hour video where he openly discussed his deteriorating mental health and blamed his family for harassment, Dobhal's life took a tragic turn with a severe car crash during a livestream, leaving him hospitalized with serious injuries.
The Devastating Crash and Immediate Aftermath
Just days after publicly venting about family rejection and mental anguish, the 28-year-old content creator met with a catastrophic accident on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. While livestreaming at speeds exceeding 150 km/hr, his vehicle smashed into a divider, sending shockwaves through his fanbase as they watched in real-time horror. Dobhal was rushed to the ICU at Subharti Hospital in Meerut with severe injuries, requiring immediate surgery. His wife Ritika, who is eight months pregnant, hurried to his side amidst the chaos, demonstrating unwavering support despite facing online hate and personal health challenges.
Manager Rohit Panday Clarifies Family Tensions
Amid swirling speculation about the truth behind Dobhal's turmoil, his manager Rohit Panday has stepped forward to provide crucial context. In a recent interview, Panday clarified that reports of Dobhal's parents disowning him are not new developments triggered by the crash but date back to last year when family relations began deteriorating over his marriage to Ritika.
"I want to clarify that while it's being reported that his parents have disowned him after this accident, it's not true," Panday stated. "This announcement came out last year when their relations began to deteriorate."
According to Panday, the family's opposition to Dobhal's marriage reached a breaking point when they published a disownment notice in a local newspaper eight months ago. This came after Dobhal had purchased a property worth Rs 2.5 crore in his mother's name, which he later liquidated. The tensions escalated to the point where Ritika was reportedly not allowed into the family home after the wedding or permitted to cook traditionally, prompting the couple to relocate to Manali.
Dowry Case Filed in Retaliation
Panday detailed how the deteriorating family situation led to legal action. "The family didn't agree; they would rather tell him that they would disown him... We filed the dowry case in retaliation and took Ritika Bhabhi's permission to do so," he explained. This legal move came as a direct response to the family's actions and the published disownment notice, highlighting the depth of the rift between Dobhal and his relatives.
Manager Slams Influencers Exploiting the Situation
Panday didn't mince words when addressing influencers who have attempted to capitalize on Dobhal's misfortune for publicity. He specifically called out content creators Thara Bhai Joginder and Tehelka Bhai, accusing them of seeking clout during a vulnerable time.
"A lot of people would do anything for the clout at this moment," Panday asserted. "That influencer Thara Bhai Joginder got beaten up. He was trying to make a video with Tehelkaa Bhai showing how Anurag was."
He contrasted this behavior with genuine supporters like Mannara Chopra and Elvish Yadav, while questioning where other purported allies were during Dobhal's eight-month mental health struggle. "A supporter is not someone who keeps making videos... Even I can post a video of Anurag, but I don't want to do that," Panday emphasized, urging focus on recovery rather than exploitation.
Health Update and Dismissal of Publicity Theories
The March 7 incident occurred during a livestream from Dehradun to Delhi, where approximately 80,000 viewers watched Dobhal deliberately accelerate before the crash. Panday revealed he had spoken to Dobhal shortly before the accident, with the YouTuber saying he just wanted to get some air before returning. Thirty minutes later, the livestream turned tragic.
Dobhal remains in the ICU following surgery, with Panday sharing that the content creator has expressed feeling isolated, stating "I am all he has because others are all doing things for fame." Panday firmly dismissed theories that Dobhal engineered the situation for views, asking "Had Anurag done this for views, why would he be away for 8 months?" He urged the public to prioritize Dobhal's recovery over speculative narratives.
As social media continues to buzz with both support and skepticism, the complex web of family conflict, legal battles, and influencer culture surrounding UK07 Rider's ordeal reveals deeper issues about mental health, family dynamics, and the ethics of content creation in crisis situations.
