'Karuppu' Released After Delay
'Karuppu' was initially scheduled for release on May 14 but faced delays due to financial issues. It eventually hit theaters on May 15 with great fanfare. On its release day, the film's team, including Trisha Krishnan, RJ Balaji, and music director Sai Abhyankkar, watched the first day, first show alongside fans. They were joined by actor Karthi, Suriya's younger brother.
About 'Karuppu'
The story revolves around underprivileged individuals fighting for their rights, placing their faith in the legal system. However, when the system itself becomes oppressive, Lord Karuppu Swamy takes human form to aid them in their struggle against injustice. Alongside Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, the film features RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maaya Ravi, and Supreeth Reddy in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda is busy with his upcoming projects, including 'Rowdy Janardhana', 'Ranabaali' opposite Rashmika Mandanna, and a film with 'Hi Nanna' director Shouryuv.
