"When I was around twelve or thirteen years old, my brother and I started shooting videos together using a small DV camera," he said. "Back then we used to watch WWE, The Matrix, Anniyan, and other films. We would act out our own versions of those movies at home and shoot them. Our friends also joined in slowly."
The actor explained how his brother's death shook him to his core. "His death affected me very deeply," Vishakh admitted. While he was still studying, a film he made with friends titled 'Plus One' was screened during his school anniversary. "There were about 500 students there," he remembered. "As our one-and-a-half-hour film played, we could see the audience clapping, laughing, and getting emotional. That moment made me feel that I could choose this field as my path."
This experience solidified his decision to pursue acting and filmmaking, transforming what was once a shared childhood passion into a dedicated career.
Living a Dual Life: For Himself and His Brother
Vishakh Nair expressed that he continues to feel his brother's presence in his life and career choices. "Even now I feel that I am living my life for my brother too," he revealed. "Because he was an extrovert. He was better than me in dance, singing, and acting. Until I lost him, I was just a studious kid. IIT, aeronautical engineering, MBA—those were the things on my mind. I liked cinema and all that, but I never thought of it as a career. But after he was gone, I decided that I should do something that he would have loved too."
