Arjun Sarja's action entertainer 'Blast' is enjoying a successful run at the box office, even as it enters its third week. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 74 lakhs net in India on Day 21, marking a 15.9 per cent drop from the Rs 88 lakhs net earned on Day 20.
India Net Collection Nears Rs 50 Crore Mark
The total India net collection for 'Blast' now stands at Rs 49.20 crore, while the India gross collection has reached Rs 56.55 crore. During its opening week, the action drama earned Rs 25.78 crore net, followed by a solid second-week total of Rs 14.66 crore. On Day 21, the film was screened across 1,885 shows nationwide.
Worldwide Gross Collection Touches Rs 70.60 Crore
Overseas, 'Blast' has accumulated Rs 14.05 crore in gross collections, bringing the worldwide gross to Rs 70.60 crore. State-wise, the top contributor on Day 21 was the state with Rs 53 lakhs gross out of the day's total Rs 85 lakhs gross. Kerala followed as the second-largest contributor with Rs 19 lakhs gross, while Andhra Pradesh and Telangana added Rs 12 lakhs, and Karnataka contributed Rs 1 lakh.
Occupancy Details for Day 21
The Tamil version of 'Blast' recorded an overall occupancy of 12.69 per cent on Day 21. Morning shows saw 11.08 per cent occupancy, which improved to 13.25 per cent during afternoon shows. Evening occupancy stood at 11.75 per cent, while night shows registered the highest occupancy at 13.42 per cent.
