Arjun Sarja's action entertainer 'Blast' has witnessed a significant jump at the box office during its second weekend. The film benefited from a surge in Sunday footfalls, leading to an increase in collections compared to the previous day.

Day 11 Collection Details

According to estimates from Sacnilk, 'Blast' collected Rs 4.35 crore in India net on Day 11. This marks a 24.3 percent rise compared to the Day 10 collections of Rs 3.50 crore. The positive trend indicates strong word-of-mouth and sustained audience interest.

Worldwide Total Crosses New Milestone

With the inclusion of Day 11 earnings, 'Blast' has now accumulated approximately Rs 35.74 crore in India net collections. The India gross earnings currently stand at around Rs 41.10 crore. International markets have contributed nearly Rs 11.70 crore in gross collections so far, pushing the film's worldwide gross total to approximately Rs 52.80 crore.

Language-wise and Occupancy Breakdown

The Tamil version contributed Rs 3.92 crore, while the Telugu version added approximately Rs 43 lakhs. Overall occupancy for the Tamil version stood at 46.87 percent. Afternoon shows emerged as the strongest period with 55.08 percent occupancy, while evening and night shows also maintained stable numbers.

State-wise and Weekly Performance

State-wise figures further showed that Tamil Nadu remained the leading market for the film. 'Blast' completed its first week with collections of Rs 25.78 crore. The second week witnessed expected weekday drops, but Saturday collections reached Rs 3.50 crore and Sunday's earnings increased further. The coming weekdays will now determine whether 'Blast' can continue sustaining its performance.

Suriya's 'Karuppu' Continues Strong Run in Fourth Week

Meanwhile, Suriya's 'Karuppu' continues to maintain its momentum at the box office despite entering its fourth week. The film recorded another rise in earnings on Day 24.

According to Sacnilk, 'Karuppu' earned approximately Rs 1.75 crore in India net on Day 24. This represented a 19 percent increase compared to Day 23 collections of Rs 1.47 crore.

The film's India net total has now reached around Rs 193.40 crore. India gross collections currently stand at approximately Rs 223.54 crore. 'Karuppu' has also crossed the Rs 304 crore mark globally and remains one of the major performers at the box office.
