Dhurandhar 2 Experiences Box Office Slowdown in Third Week
The highly anticipated spy action film Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar and featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, is showing signs of slowing down at the box office. After a record-breaking start, the movie witnessed a significant dip in numbers on Thursday, concluding its third week on a new low. According to estimates, the film earned approximately Rs 7.15 crore in net collections on its fourth Thursday, marking the lowest point in its theatrical run so far.
Week 3 Collections Fall Short of Predecessor's Record
Despite surpassing the lifetime collections of its 2025 predecessor, Dhurandhar, Dhurandhar 2 has struggled to maintain its momentum. Released on March 19, the film has seen a steady decline in earnings over the past weeks. This downward trend has placed it in the second spot for highest third-week collections, unable to beat the Rs 172 crore record set by the original Dhurandhar in December of last year.
As per data from Sacnilk, the gross total haul for Dhurandhar 2 on its fourth Thursday was estimated at Rs 8.56 crore. This contributed to a third-week total collection of Rs 110.60 crore, highlighting the film's reduced hold over audiences compared to earlier weeks.
Detailed Weekly Box Office Breakdown
Box office figures reveal the following domestic collections for Dhurandhar 2:
- Week 1: Rs 674.17 crore
- Week 2: Rs 263.65 crore
- Week 3: Rs 110.60 crore
With these numbers, the film's total net collections at the domestic box office are estimated at Rs 1,048.42 crore, just shy of the Rs 1,050 crore mark. On a gross basis, Dhurandhar 2 has achieved an India gross collection of Rs 1,255.23 crore.
Worldwide Gross Collections and Overseas Performance
In addition to its domestic success, Dhurandhar 2 has performed well internationally, with an overseas haul of Rs 410 crore. This brings the film's total worldwide gross collection to an estimated Rs 1,665.23 crore, underscoring its global appeal despite the recent slowdown in ticket sales.
The film's journey at the box office continues to be closely watched by industry analysts and fans alike, as it navigates the challenges of sustaining audience interest in a competitive market.
