According to early estimates reported by industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Dhurandhar' earned approximately Rs 17.25 crore in net collections in India on its nineteenth day, which was a Tuesday. While this figure stayed just below the coveted Rs 20 crore mark, it represented a marginal increase from the film's third Monday earnings of around Rs 16.5 crore.
The film's occupancy rate on Day 19 told a story of growing audience interest through the day. It recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 30.70%. Footfall was lowest during morning shows but saw a significant pickup as the day progressed, with afternoon, evening, and night shows all maintaining occupancy levels above 30%.
A Record-Shattering Three-Week Run
'Dhurandhar' concluded its third weekend with a powerful haul of Rs 95.25 crore. Despite a sharp 57.1% drop on the following Monday, the addition of Tuesday's collections has pushed the film's estimated India net total for the third week to about Rs 129 crore.
This performance follows two spectacular opening weeks. The film debuted with a massive Rs 207.25 crore in its first week and then defied conventional trends by posting an even stronger second week total of Rs 252.25 crore.
The film has already etched its name in the record books by achieving a historic feat: it is the first Indian film ever to collect Rs 20 crore or more for 17 consecutive days. This consistency across two full working weeks and three weekends is an accomplishment that eluded even legendary blockbusters like 'Dangal' and 'RRR'.
Global Domination and the Rs 1000 Crore Quest
The film's financial success is truly a global phenomenon. On the domestic front, its all-India gross collections have surged past the Rs 700 crore milestone, currently estimated at Rs 707.5 crore. Overseas, the film is showing tremendous traction and is fast approaching the Rs 200 crore mark, with a 19-day overseas total of roughly Rs 190 crore.
This brings the film's estimated worldwide gross to a staggering Rs 897.5 crore. This colossal figure has reportedly secured 'Dhurandhar' a spot among the Top 10 highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time.
All eyes are now on the coveted Rs 1000 crore worldwide club. Trade analysts are optimistic that the film's unprecedented holding power, combined with the upcoming Christmas holiday, could propel it past this elite threshold. If it succeeds, it will become the first film in Ranveer Singh's career to enter the Rs 1000 crore club.
Released on December 5 without the benefit of a holiday or an extended weekend, 'Dhurandhar's' monumental success is largely attributed to the strength of its content and powerful word-of-mouth. The Christmas holiday on Thursday is expected to give its collections a significant boost.
