According to data from industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar added a robust Rs 17.25 crore to its domestic nett collection on Tuesday, December 23. This impressive figure comes after a strong Monday collection of Rs 16.5 crore, demonstrating exceptional weekday stability. The film's total domestic earnings now stand at an estimated Rs 589.5 crore, making the Rs 600 crore domestic nett landmark a mere formality to be achieved in the coming days.
The film's performance is even more remarkable when compared to its predecessor in the record books. On its corresponding third Tuesday, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 2023 blockbuster Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, had collected Rs 12.72 crore. Dhurandhar's higher Tuesday earnings underscore its stronger holding power and wider audience appeal as it prepares to overtake Animal's global record.

The film's worldwide gross has now reached a staggering Rs 876.5 crore. With this, the Aditya Dhar-directed spectacle has already achieved a significant feat: it has dethroned Rishab Shetty's Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 (Rs 852.31 crore) to become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 worldwide.
Its next immediate target is the global gross of Animal, which stands at approximately Rs 915 crore. Surpassing this figure will propel Dhurandhar into the elite top 10 list of highest-grossing Indian films of all time. Industry analysts predict that given its current momentum, the film is likely to achieve this within the week. Furthermore, trade circles are abuzz with the prediction that once it crosses the Animal milestone, the Ranveer Singh-starrer may easily overtake the lifetime worldwide collection of Salman Khan's beloved 2015 drama Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which stands at Rs 922.17 crore.
