Dhurandhar Box Office Day 30: Collections Dip to Single Digits
Dhurandhar Day 30: Single-Digit Dip After ₹1200 Cr Global

The monumental box office journey of the Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar is showing signs of entering a phase of consolidation. After a historic sprint that saw it smash past the ₹1,200 crore mark globally, the spy thriller has experienced a notable slowdown as it completes its fourth week in theatres.

Domestic Collections See Sharp Decline

According to data from the industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned ₹6.5 crore on its 30th day in India. This marks the film's first single-digit daily collection since its explosive release and represents its lowest single-day haul to date. The dip is a natural tapering off after an exceptionally strong run that lasted nearly a full month, characterized by powerful opening numbers and remarkable holds on weekdays.

This latest figure brings the film's India net collection total to ₹754 crore. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar benefited from a perfect storm of limited major competition and intense audience demand, especially for premium format screenings like IMAX and 4DX, which allowed it to enjoy an extended period of dominance at the domestic box office. However, with new films now entering the market and screen counts gradually reducing, its daily earnings are beginning to normalize.

Overseas Markets Hold Steady

While domestic numbers have softened, the film's performance in international territories remains robust and steady. In its first 29 days, Dhurandhar has amassed an estimated ₹267 crore in gross earnings from overseas markets. Impressively, even on a regular working day like its fifth Friday, the film added approximately ₹5 crore from international audiences, highlighting sustained interest among the global Indian diaspora.

Trade analysts are now closely watching to see if the film can achieve the coveted ₹300 crore overseas milestone by the end of its theatrical run. This elite benchmark has been crossed by only a select few Indian films in history.

Position Among All-Time Greats

With a staggering worldwide gross collection of ₹1,204.15 crore in just 29 days, Dhurandhar has already secured its legacy. It is now officially the second highest-grossing Hindi film ever and the first Hindi title to cross the ₹1,200 crore threshold so swiftly in its global campaign.

The film's current domestic gross stands at ₹937.15 crore, while its India net collections are calculated at ₹794.20 crore. These towering numbers place it within touching distance of the pan-India blockbuster KGF Chapter 2, which holds a lifetime worldwide gross of roughly ₹1,230 crore. Barring any unforeseen collapse, Dhurandhar is projected to overtake KGF Chapter 2 soon, which would make it the fifth highest-grossing Indian film worldwide across all languages.

The focus for the film now shifts from chasing weekly records to optimizing its final lifetime total. Its ultimate ranking on the all-time charts will be determined by how gradually its collections decline in the coming weeks.

Looking further ahead, the saga is set to continue. The industry is already anticipating a colossal box office clash in 2026, when Ranveer Singh returns for Dhurandhar 2, slated for an Eid release. It is expected to face off directly against the Yash-starring Toxic, a showdown trade experts are billing as one of the biggest cinematic battles of the coming year.
