Dhurandhar Box Office Slows After 5 Weeks, Hits Rs 1212 Crore Worldwide
Dhurandhar's 5-week run slows, total hits Rs 1212 crore

The blockbuster spy thriller 'Dhurandhar', featuring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, has finally witnessed a notable dip in its phenomenal box office momentum. After an incredible five-week sprint where it consistently raked in double-digit daily figures, the film's collections entered single-digit territory for the first time on its fifth Monday.

A Record-Breaking Journey Meets Its First Slowdown

According to early estimates from the tracking portal Sacnilk, 'Dhurandhar' added approximately Rs 4.50 crore in net collections on its 32nd day in Indian theatres. This marks the lowest single-day haul for the Aditya Dhar-directed film since its grand release on December 5. The dip follows an otherwise record-shattering fifth weekend where the movie demonstrated remarkable holding power.

The signs of a slowdown first appeared on the film's fifth Friday, when earnings fell to Rs 8.75 crore. However, the movie showcased its enduring appeal by bouncing back strongly over the weekend. It collected an estimated Rs 11.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 12.75 crore on Sunday, proving that audience interest remained high.

Week Five Creates New Benchmarks Despite Dip

Despite Monday's drop, 'Dhurandhar' has achieved a monumental feat. It emerged as the highest-grossing film of the past weekend across India. More impressively, it has shattered the existing record for the highest fifth-week collections ever. The film surpassed the previous record held by 'Chhaava' (Rs 30 crore) in just three days.

With the Monday figures included, the film's estimated total for its fifth week stands at a staggering Rs 37.75 crore. At this rate, the movie is likely to conclude its fifth week with a total just under the Rs 100 crore mark, which will be a first since its release.

Dhurandhar's Staggering Total Collections So Far

The film's overall financial success continues to be monumental. The total net collections from the Indian market have now climbed to an estimated Rs 776.75 crore. When looking at gross collections, the figure is even more impressive, having soared past the Rs 900 crore mark to reach approximately Rs 932 crore.

The global appeal of 'Dhurandhar' is undeniable. With a massive Rs 280 crore contributed from overseas markets, the film's worldwide gross total has reached an estimated Rs 1212 crore. This cements its position as one of the most successful Indian films of the year, showcasing the powerful combination of a spy thriller narrative, star power, and directorial vision.
